Officials are investigating a fire late Wednesday morning that destroyed a southwest Salina mobile home, as a possible electric fire.

Salina Fire Marshal Roger Williams said crews were sent to 812 Otto about 10:45am to report of trailer on fire.

When crews arrived flames were visible from the rear of the trailer home.

A woman and three children were in the mobile home at the time of the fire, and everyone got out safely.

Williams said the woman’s family owned the mobile home, and did not have insurance.

The North Central Kansas Chapter of The Red Cross is assisting the family.
