A 29-year-old Salina man was arrested early Tuesday morning for burglary, attempted theft, and damage to property.

Michael D. Swisher is alleged to have used a brick to break a window at the Pump Mart at 1118 N. 9th just before 3:00am.

Two residents of a nearby home who were getting out of a car, heard glass break and someone walking around the building, then followed the person and called police. Swisher was arrested shortly thereafter.

Damage to a window on the north side of the building was estimated at $500.
