Gypsum Man Injured In Crash On K-4 Early Tuesday Morning

KHPA 40 year old Gypsum man injured in a single car crash early Tuesday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Samuel Cruz was westbound on K-4 highway about 10 miles west of Gypsum, when he swerved his 1999 Mercedes-Benz to avoid hitting a deer and left the road, and struck a tree.

Cruz was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries.

The crash occurred about 6:40am.
