SOUND OFF

1. When the government banned alcohol during the prohibition, many people tried to make it and went blind, or died from the side effects and poisons from making it wrong. The black market thrived. The same thing is happening now with other substances- instead of banning them, why not further develop them to remove harmful side-effects and refine the recipes? With things like mushrooms and pot, I can’t imagine it’d be all that difficult; especially considering that every fruit and vegetable you get at the grocery store is a product of such refinement.

2. It was a good run Wichita…a very close game. Decent year for Kansas college teams.

3. Bring on the thunderstorms! Best time of the year to be in Kansas!

4. The way that the U.S. is handling North Korea is the EXACT way we should have handled Iraq. But no, we had to go with the country that DID NOT threaten us, losing thousands of lives in the process. Say what you will about Obama, but if Bush was back in office, our young men and women would be heading to fight another war in North Korea right now.
