Salina Police will be out Friday evening between 8:30pm and 12:30am conducting a nighttime seat belt enforcement grant.
The overtime for the supervisor and three officers who will be doing a city wide enforcement is paid with funds from a state grant.
Lt. Russ Lamer says the enforcement will be a spotter call out, which means an officer will be looking into vehicles to see if everyone is wearing seat belts and children in proper safety seats.
