Severe Storms Possible Today

Locations generally west of Interstate 135 can expect to experience these storms after 3 pm with the remainder of central and south central Kansas seeing the storms after 7 pm. Large hail and down-burst winds will be the main threats.

  • TODAY: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Southeast wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
  • TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10pm. Low around 58. Southeast wind 13 to 15 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
