The Salina Police Department issued 11 citations Friday night for seat belt violations during special nighttime enforcement.

Lt. Russ Lamer says the seat belt check took place at the southbound exit ramp of I-135 at Schilling Road and also at 9th and Saturn.

The were 5 other citations issued during the enforcement check.
