Severe storms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening. Supercell thunderstorms with very large hail…damaging winds and tornadoes are possible across south central and southeast Kansas. Locations south of highway 50 will have the best chance for tornadoes and are shown in the red hatched area. Thunderstorms will develop into a large complex late tonight with the threats transitioning to strong winds and heavy rain across southeast Kansas.
