TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the city of Tescott public water system.
The boil water advisory was issued on May 29 because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a power outage.
Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
