Visit Salina is pleased to announce that Miller’s Shotokan Karate Team under Master Sensei Roy Miller III will host the 6th Annual Great Plains Karate Challenge at the Salvation Army on Santa Fe, Saturday June 22nd.
The event is expected to bring approximately 200 karate participants from teams throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Colorado. The competitors vary in ages, starting with Foam Sword Fighting for ages 4 to 6 years to Sparring, with the oldest competitor being 73 years old.
Competitor Check- In will take place Saturday morning at 8:30am June 22 at the Salvation Army on Santa Fe.
The entry fee is $30 per competitor for up to 3 events.
Each additional event registration is $5. The event is open to the public. Admission is $3.00 per person over 3 years of age (3 and under free).
