A Salina man tells police someone took his wallet after it fell off the top of his vehicle Saturday morning.

22-year-old Ismael Zapata says he had stopped at the Rod’s Total in the 1300 block of N. 9th between 7:00am and 7:30am and apparently put his wallet on the roof of his vehicle and drove off.

When he discovered what had happened, he went back to the area of where the wallet could have fallen off and it was gone.

A witness said a white male with long hair, riding a black motorcycle with yellow and red flames stopped and picked up the wallet and drove away.

Loss including $650 in cash is $662.
