Hahn-Helko-Heil

Salina Police have arrested three people in connection with an aggravated robbery in April, and among the three is a 25-year-old man already in jail on charges of 1st degree murder in the death of a Salina woman whose body was found northwest of town in early May.

Joel Heil, 38-year-old Angella Helko, and 31-year-old Max Hahn are alleged to have held up two women in their middle 20s on the night of April 18th in the 600 block of N.13th around 10:00pm.

The trio is alleged to have taken by gun point the purses of the women.

Among the items taken included a Galaxy tablet, makeup, jewelry and $100 cash from one woman and $700 cash from the second woman.

The robbery was not reported until May 9th after Heil had been arrested in connection with the murder of Kristen Tyler, whose body was found in a wheat field just off Stimmel Road to the east of I-135.

Lt. Scott Siemsen says police investigation led to the arrest Wednesday.
