At the Salina City Commissioners meeting Monday evening, there was much business discussed regarding the Bicentennial Center.

The city commissioners approved the removal of ceiling tile, lights, sound cluster and specified bracing in the arena.

The Salina City Commissioners also approved the purchase of 72 LED light fixtures. The total cost of the new LED light fixtures is $116,064.

Also, new handheld radios and supporting equipment were also approved for the Bicentennial Center.
