Two people taken to the Ottawa County Health Center in Minneapolis Tuesday night after a crash between a pickup and tractor.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that a pickup and tractor pulling a swather were both eastbound on K-18 about 4 miles east of Bennington just after 9:00pm, when the pickup rear ended the tractor.

The driver of the pickup 34-year-old Donald Base and 4-year-old Derrick Base, both of Olsburg were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. 8-year-old Dominic Base, also of Olsburg was not injured.

The driver of the tractor 54-year-old Robert Boss of Bennington was not injured.
