Loss in a home burglary in west Salina is placed in the thousands of dollars. James Stifler said someone forced entry into his home through a back door in the 1400 block of Oak between Thursday evening and late Friday afternoon.

Among the items taken in the burglary included a 1996 Chevy Z-71 4×4 pickup, electronics, guns, gift cards, 3-four wheelers, helmets, tools, fishing tackle, and a Green Mountain Grill.

Loss is placed at $7,700.
