Salina Crime Log November 4th

crime reportDamage to Property. A pumpkin was used to smash the windshield of a 1994 Toyota Acura owned by Shane Davis while parked in the 600 block of S. 10th between 8:00p.m. October 31st and 7:00a.m. on November 1st. Damage estimated at $800.

Theft. $12 in cash along with a I-Phone 4 taken from the book-bag of Nicholas while it was on the top of a locker inside a locker room at Salina Central High School between 7:40a.m. and 8:50a.m. Friday November 1st. Loss placed at $612.

Burglary-Theft. No sign of forced entry to the home of Virginia Smith in the 700 block of S. Front between 5:00p.m. and 10:30p.m Friday November 1st, where several items were taken. Stolen items include a Sony PlayStation 2 game system, 6-video games, a 10-pack of Monster energy drink, 4-cell phone chargers, a 7″ android tablet, and $300 in cash. Loss placed at $670.

Theft. A red and white in color Honeywell Generator, a Stihl Chainsaw, and a 5-gallon bucket with various tools taken from a storage shed in the 1400 block of E. Ottawa Road between October 27th and November 3rd. No sign of forced entry into the shed owned by Thomas Classen of Salina. Loss placed at $1,200.

Theft. A 2004 Yamaha YZFR6 motorcycle owned by Michael Lewis was taken between 5:00a.m. and 11:00a.m. on November 2nd while parked along the west side of a home at 1411 Ponca. The motorcycle is owned Michael Lewis. The key was not with the motorcycle. Loss placed at $2,500.
