In an uptempo game that was filled with athletic play, it was the officials and the new “no contact” rule that dominated the game between Neosho CC and Brown Mackie on Saturday night. BMC led at halftime 56-49, but could not carry that success over into the second half.

BJ Jenkins led the 2nd half attack for Neosho scoring 14 of his team high 18 points after halftime. With the game tied late, Neosho went on a 8-0 run to lead 97-89. The Panthers would go on to win the game 114-107 and stay undefeated at 4-0.

The game was dominated by personal fouls and free throw shooting. There were 57 fouls called in the game and 90 free throw attempts.

Brown Mackie is now 4-1 on the season and will be back in action Friday when they host SE Nebraska at 7:00 pm.
