1. I know most could care less about the health department but I want it known
that the commissioners are treating the employees as though they are worthless.For example…employees who have been there for 35 years have to start over at square one as a brand new employee. Their pay is frozen and their sick and vacation time are being messed with as well. Insurance is shooting up. We didn’t ask to be county! We have worked so well for 50 years and 3 men are going to throw it all away. I know many people don’t have to utilize the health dept but there are families that need our services.

2. “Less tort reform threat”? Yet another gem from Sarah Palin! And she’s your tea party queen? Will some rightie please take Sarah under their wing and teach her how to properly use right-wing talking points?!

3. I think it’s time we stop glorifying football. How about we teach our kids that learning and intelligence is more important than smashing your head into somebody else’s head.

4. Our country has become one of the most disgusting countries to ever exist. We are spying on our allies, spying on our citizens, and openly shunning our laws. Then, when a single person releases this information for us, our country declares him a traitor and some call for his death. Then, the average American doesn’t even pay attention to it as they’re too busy watching the Kardashians or a bunch of rednecks act stupid on tv. It’s absolutely disheartening to see how far we’ve fallen as a country.
