HIV is known to be one of the most dangerous viruses in the world. Before relatively recent breakthroughs, HIV would inevitably lead to AIDS and the person would die of complications of something more simple, like pneumonia. This is because the immune system is destroyed and the person is more susceptible to sickness.

But it seems that HIV can be reprogrammed to do something other than destroy. A 6 year old girl who was dying from an advance stage of leukemia was injected with a reprogrammed version of HIV, what happened next was amazing.
