UPDATE: Power was restored a little after 1:10 pm. Power line was down in the area of Lewis and Buckeye.

More than 380 customers of Westar Energy are without power in south Salina.

The outage began around 11:30am and appears to be centered in the area of Cloud and Ohio streets. A Westar Energy spokesman said a power line dropped causing the outage, and crews are in the process of making repairs.

According to a map on the Westar Energy web page that the power should be restored around 3:30p.m. . The outage has affected the offices of Eagle Communications, causing both 99KG Country and KINA to go off the air.
