About a year ago, a TV crew with the Animal Planet show “Finding Big Foot” came to Saline County looking for Big Foot. At the time a producer with the show Sean Mantooth told a Saline County deputy there had been a report of a Big Foot sighting just northeast of Salina. The show crew shot some video around the Smoky Hill River bridge in the 2300 block of E. North.

Well this Sunday night the program “Finding Big Foot” will air an episode titled “Big Foot of OZ”.

The shows website describes the episode as: The team travels to the heartland to determine if bigfoots live on the great plains of Kansas. With help from eyewitnesses, they narrow their search to waterways outside of Wichita where they take to the sky and employ a unique baiting technique. The show will air at 9p.m. Sunday night.
