A cashier at a Salina business a victim of a quick change artist.

Lt. Sean Morton of the Salina Police Department, said a male suspect purchased a bottle of water and chicken bites Saturday afternoon at Walmart for just under $4.

The suspect gave the cashier a $50 bill and after receiving change, ask the cashier for several other exchanges of change.

A check later of the register determined the loss of $170.
