The Southeast of Saline Life Dimensions class wanted to help Oscar Campa fight his cancer. Therefore, we had a movie night at Coronado Elementary School. We sold Bracelets, t-shirts, hotdogs, popcorn, juice and water. They also had an auction with things donated by local businesses and individuals wanting to help Oscar. Everyone this night watched the movie Fun Size and at the end of the event, the class presented a check to Oscar and his family for $1,760. Now Oscar is cancer free but still in chemo for a few more week but is doing well.

The Southeast of Saline FCCLA Chapter sold Cups of Cheer, also known as holiday mugs with different hot drink mixes in them, to help raise money for the Salina Rescue Mission. They were sold at the Prairie Patch, the annual Education Foundation craft show at SES. They raised a total of $350.00 to help support the Salina Rescue Mission. The SES FCCLA Chapter presented the check to the Salina Rescue Mission on December 15th when they went caroling at the different shelters and nursing homes.
