Thieves have made off with the tires and rims of a car that was parked for several hours at a west Salina restaurant.

Between 2p.m. Tuesday and 6:45a.m. Wednesday, someone removed all four tires and rims from a 1999 Dodge Intrepid owned by Robert Berthelson of Lincoln while parked at the northeast corner of Russell’s Restaurant at 649 Westport Blvd.

The car was left sitting on concrete blocks.

Value of the stolen tires, rims, and lug nuts is estimated at $1,200.
