A man sentenced to life in prison late last year for the murder of the son of his girl friend, Wednesday plead guilty to escaping from the Saline County Jail about a year ago.
Antonio Brown was sentenced after for the aggravated escape charge that will be served consecutively to the murder and child abuse sentences according to Saline County Attorney Ellen Mitchell.
The 30-year-old Brown escaped in February of last year from the Saline County Jail, after a door that led to a garage area and then outside was not locked. Brown turned himself in to authorities in Wichita a couple of days after escaping.
With all of the sentences being served consecutively, Brown will spend about 38 years in prison before being eligible for parole.
