The Salina Post has confirmed the family of the Jayden Hicks is suing the City of Salina for the electrocution of their daughter.

The incident happened last spring in Campbell Plaza where Jayden and some other friends were playing. Jayden, along with some friends, were shocked along with a fireman who was on the scene. The fireman and others were treated and released but Jayden suffered worse injuries.

After months in the hospital Jayden Hicks did pass away on December 31st of 2013.
