James William Grandy, 63, of Lincoln, Kansas, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 1st, , at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas.

Jim was born in Great Bend, Kansas on December 29, 1950, son of the late Iva Mae (Vesper) and Harold Lee Grandy.

Survivors include wife, Paula I. (Williams) Grandy of the home; two daughters, Leann Thomas, of Larned, Kansas, Deana Peterson and husband Larry, of Larned, Kansas; two sons, Joe Burgardt, of Smith Center, Kansas; Heath Burgardt and wife Heather, of Hays, Kansas; two brothers, Charles Grandy and wife Jewell of Wisconsin, Gene Grandy of Wichita, Kansas; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by sister, Patricia Blackburn.

At the family’s request there will be no service as cremation has taken place.
