Jewelry, a handgun, and a some loose change taken in home burglary during the day Thursday.

No sign of forced entry to the home of Julie Allen and Jason Messier in the 300 block of N Kansas.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said the jewelry included Black Hills gold jewelry, other types of jewelry, a .40 caliber pistol, and $70 in change.

The burglary occurred between 6:30a.m. and 4:45a.m. Thursday.

Loss is estimated at $2,521.
