The Salina Bombers are announcing that Bob Frey has stepped down as the Head Coach, and has accepted a coaching position in the St. Louis area. Coach Frey informed the Salina Bombers players on Tuesday evening. Coach Bob Frey accumulated a record of 14 and 4 in his two years as head coach, and was named CPIFL Coach of the Year in 2013. The Salina Bombers organization wishes Coach Frey the best in the future.

The Salina Bombers promoted assistant coach Eric Clayton to the Head Coaching position. Coach Clayton has been with the team from the origination of the franchise as Defensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach. The remainder of the coaching staff will remain intact, as the team prepares for the Kansas Koyotes game on March 23rd in Topeka.
