An elderly woman was injured in a two car crash Thursday morning near the intersection of Second Street and Crawford.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said a 99-year-old woman was driving on Crawford when she went left of center and her car struck another car almost head on.

The woman was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment, the occupants of the other car were apparently not injured.

The crash occurred just before 7a.m. , in the same vicinity where police were responding to a robbery and stabbing case.
