Robert  E. "Bob"  Coble=Robert Earl “Bob” Coble, 80, of Salina, passed away Thursday, March 27th, at Salina Regional Health Center.

Robert was born in Missouri on May 30, 1933, to the late Florence Gertrude (McCosky) and Ruel Emett Coble.

He married Marjorie Lydia Schneider on June 3, 1956 in Ramona, Kansas.

Bob and his family owned and operated Big Cheese Pizza in Salina.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Robin, wife of Richard Roberts, of Salina, and RaDena, wife of Dan McAllister, of Salina; sons, Ronald, husband of Laloni Coble, of Ramona, Oklahoma, and Russell, husband of Kris Coble, of Salina; sister, Yvonne Hunt, of Humboldt, Kansas; and sister-in-law, Norma Coble, of Chaute, Kansas; as well as, 10 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie; and brother, Frank Coble.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home . Family will greet friends from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3rd, with Rev. Shawn Deterding officiating. Interment will follow at Lewis Cemetery in Ramona, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to Trinity Lutheran Church, 702 S. 9th, Salina, Kansas 67401.

Marguerite Dillon, 95, of Salina, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Presbyterian Manor. She wasborn Feb. 22, 1919, at Lometa, Texas.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in San Angelo, Texas.

She was active in the women’s auxiliary in St. Paul Episcopal Church in Brady, Texas, and Emmanuel Episcopal in San Angelo. She was also active in the hospital auxiliary in both towns.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ben Dillon Sr. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Ben Jr. and Kathy Dillon, of College Station, Texas; daughter, Mary Ann Lay, of Salina; grandchildren, Rob Lay and wife, Jennie Hocking, of Southlake, Texas, Gretchen Dillon and husband, Jake West, of Doha, Qatar, and Rachel Dillon and husband, Luis Enciso, of Mexico City; and two great-grandchildren, Mia Lay, of Southlake, and Joaquin Enciso, of Mexico City.

Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Manor, 2601 E. Crawford, Salina 67401, and may be sent to or left in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

mor40329Julia Moralez, 93, of Salina, died Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born June 19, 1920, in Salina to Jesus and Calistia (Robledo) Vargas.

From 1978 to 1980, she worked at Asbury Hospital. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, the VFW Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Birthday Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel Moralez; a daughter-in-law, Barb Moralez; two brothers, Manuel and Gilbert Vargas; and two sisters, Alberta Montoy and Anna Merryfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Marie Fuller and husband, Mike, of Salina; five sons, Richard Moralez, of Denver, Paul Moralez and wife, Donna, of Ayden, N.C.; Steve Moralez and wife, Karen, of Salina; Mike Moralez and wife, Adele, of Raleigh, N.C.; and Mark Moralez, of Salina; two sisters, Lillian Sanchez and Olivia Rojas, both of Salina; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and her dear friends from the Birthday Club.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today, March 31, at Ryan Mortuary, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with Father Frank Coady as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina. The family suggests memorials to the Harden Hospice or Sacred Heart Cathedral, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
