A Salina man reports the theft of a moped. William Mencanin tells police the blue and gray 2011 KAIK moped was taken from the backyard of his home in the 100 block of West Kirwin, between Monday evening and Tuesday morning. The value of the moped is estimated at $500.

A full size refrigerator is taken from a vacant rental home east of Salina between Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon. The white in color GE refrigerator was taken from a home in the 3500 block of E. Old 40 Highway. The property is owned by the Windslow family trust, and cared for by Larry Mattison of rural New Cambria. Loss is estimated at just over $1,000.
