Two injured in Friday I-70 rollover accident

KHPGOODLAND—Two people were injured in a Friday rollover crash in Sherman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol Reported a 1988 Chevy Blazer  driven by Stacy Helus, 50, Colby was eastbound in the right lane on I-70 13 miles west of Goodland when the rear left tire became flat.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, traveled through the south ditch and rolled 1 1/4 times coming to rest on the passenger side facing north.

Helus  and a passenger Larry Lynn Hensley, 62, Oakley were transported to the hospital in Burlington, Colorado.

The KHP reported Hensley was not wearing a seat belt.
