Two Northeast Kansas residents were killed in a crash 3.5 miles east of Bennington late Friday afternoon.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, A pickup truck was parked along the north edge of K-18 partially in the westbound lane of travel. 35-year old Jason L Jeardoe of Bennington was driving west in a pickup, went into the eastbound lane crashing head on into a car driven by 18-year-old Emma Jo Pisocki of Topeka.

Pisocki and a passenger in the car 41-year-old Jason Pisocki also of Topeka were killed.

Jeardoe was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries.

The crash occurred around 4:00p.m.
