A Salina man was among those recognized Thursday in the 25th annual Kansas Voices Writing Contest.

William Clyde Brown received an honorable mention in the Adult Poetry division for “Cezanne Dancing in Kansas”

Nearly 200 Kansas writers submitted their work to the contest, which was organized by the Winfield Arts and Humanities Council.
