Pavement work has started on I-135 in southern Saline County. Pavement repairs, that may include patching, sealing and striping, begin at the bridge over the Smoky Hill River south of the Bridgeport Interchange then north to the I-135/Shilling Rd Interchange in South Salina

Traffic within the work zone will be restricted to one lane at a reduced speed limit of 65 mph and ramps in the area will have a width restriction as well. Plans call for work to be completed by the end of May, 2014.
