The Sioux City Bandits overcame a 3 point halftime and a 9 point 3rd quarter deficit to defeat the Salina Bombers, 56-42 at the Bicentennial Center on Saturday night. After trailing 35-26, the Bandits went on a 30-7 run to end the game.
Robbie Nallenweg threw 5 touchdowns for the Bombers in his first game. Ricky Roberts was on the receiving end of 3 of them.
The Bombers drop to 4-2 while the Bandits improve to 5-2.
Salina will be back at home next week for a Saturday night date with the league leading Wichita Wild.
