Citizens Speak Out against Jerry Ivey Dog Park

At the Salina City Commissioner’s meeting, citizens did come out to speak against a dog park in Jerry Ivey.

The people who spoke owned homes just adjacent to the proposed dog park. Multiple concerns were stated against the proposed dog park. The main concerns stated were noise, safety for the children in the park and overall cleanliness of the area where the dogs would be located.

There were suggestions to put the dog park down in Bill Burke park or off of Markley rd, by the old airport.
