Salina City Commissioners Approve Emergency Exit for Bill Burke Park

The Salina City Commissioners unanimously approved an emergency exit for Bill Burke Park. 

There was concern that during a severe weather situation, or other emergencies, that it would take too long to evacuate the park. 

The emergency exit will run from the back of the park and over the dike to the neighborhood on the West side of Indian Rock. 

The project will cost no more than $50,000 dollars.
