A search turns up nothing Monday, after a note was found in an office at Salina Central saying there was a bomb in the school.
Police Captain Mike Sweeney said the note was found about 11:30a.m., and school officials and the school resource officer checked the school and found nothing.
Sweeney said the note could be connected to a note found a couple of weeks ago threatening violence, along with a cell phone that had been shot. Both were also found in a school office.
Classes were not interrupted .
Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of who is responsible for the notes is ask to contact Salina-Saline County Crimestoppers. You may receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 and not give your name.
