The Kansas Wesleyan Football team will end its spring practice session with a practice scrimmage open to the public on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Salina Stadium.
“It will be a practice format with some scrimmage components,” Wesleyan head coach Matt Drinkall said. “Fans will be able to watch us in a practice setting with some controlled and situational scrimmage components.”
The Coyotes have been in spring practice since April 5 with early morning weekday practices and mid-morning weekend practices.
Wesleyan is under the direction of first-year head coach Matt Drinkall, who took over for Dave Dallas who coached the team the previous 17 seasons.
Wesleyan will open the 2014 season on September 6 at home against Hastings (Neb.) College. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
