SOUND OFF

1. City needs to do something with the lights at Claflin and 9th and Cloud and 9th. There is no reason why you should have to sit through those two lights three times, have traffic backed up on 9th to Ellsworth and people cutting in onto 9th from Claflin backing up 9th worse than it is. Either set those lights so they’re both green at the same time for the same amount of time or TAKE the lights at Claflin and 9th OUT!!! There’s no need for them at Claflin and 9th anyway.

2. Sebelius declines to testify on her own department’s budget request, because she didnt want to. She could of at least learned a little from hitlery and faked a fall.

3. Sure was hot again today. It’s not even summer yet and we’re seeing triple digit temps!

4. So sad to see the Republicans using and turning the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi into crass fundraising and attempts to rally the base of haters and conspiracy theorists. Is there no tragedy they won’t use?

5. Yeah, I’d like to post a comment about all the people that are sitting around town on corners, asking for money or for gas. There oughta be an ordinance on that I thought. Loitering or something? It’s making Salina look bad, having people sitting on corners like that.
