On Monday, May 12th,Union Pacific Railroad will begin work on replacing the railroad crossing located on West Crawford Street, between South Ninth Street and South Broadway Boulevard. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday,May 15th.

West Crawford Street will be closed to through traffic just west of Ninth Street, but access can be gained to all properties on either side of the tracks by way of the detour. Eastbound motorists will be directed one block south to Republic Avenue at Broadway Boulevard and westbound motorists will be directed one block south to Republic Avenue at Ninth Street.

City Staff has worked with Union Pacific to minimize the disruption for businesses and the community. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to proceed with caution for the safety of the crews performing the work.
