Law enforcement conducted a warrants sweep in Salina and Saline County Monday afternoon and evening, making 30 arrest and clearing 46 outstanding warrants.

The sweep involved 27 officers from the Salina Police Department, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, The K.B.I., Department of Corrections, and the Kansas Parole Task Force.

Officer Brent Rupert said cleared were warrants from Salina Municipal Court, Saline County District Court, seven out of county warrants, and one state warrant. The warrants ranged from obstruction, parole violation, state absconder, and failure to appear.

Rupert said they had four warrants that were paid in full. Rupert added that several warrants were being addressed Tuesday morning in municipal court. He also said that there is walk-in court every Thursday morning that begins at 7a.m. at municipal court where warrants could be addressed.
