A car stolen from a Salina residence is found wrecked early Tuesday morning.

Salina Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Marymount Road about 2:15am Tuesday morning to the report of an accident.

Officers found a 2004 Chevy Cavalier, which had been going southbound, struck a curb, went through 5 curve warning signs and ran over a fire hydrant which was pulled from the ground.

Officers found no driver or keys with the car.

The owner of the car 19-year-old Seth Gilliam who lives at 737 Fairdale, called to report his car was stolen just before 4pm Tuesday afternoon. Gilliam said the keys had been left in the car, and had been stolen from the Fairdale address.
