Electronics were taken in a home burglary during the day Saturday. Derek Weltmer reports to police someone pried open the back door to his mobile home in the 1300 block of Winona between 11am and 3:15pm. Taken in the burglary were 55-inch and 32-inch flat screen TV’s, a touchscreen laptop computer, and a safe. Loss and damage listed at $1,890.

A Salina man was arrested Friday in connection with a aggravated burglary and battery on April 25th. Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 28-year-old Jason Duffy is alleged to have entered the apartment of 32-year-old Michael Peterson while he was asleep, and stole a PlayStation 3 game system and B-B gun pistol. Later that same day Duffy is alleged to punched Peterson after being confronted about taking the items. Police were not able to locate Duffy until Friday when he was arrested. The PlayStation game system has been recovered.
