A Salina woman was arrested early Sunday morning for breaking into an apartment and stealing electronics.

23-year-old Christine Rice and another woman who police are still looking for, broke into the apartment of 21-year-old Harley Ratley just after 3am Sunday morning at 500 E. Crawford.

Ratley came home and found the door to her apartment open, and missing from the apartment was a 32-inch flat screen TV, a DVD/CD player and several DVD’s. The estimated value of the items taken is listed at $818.

Ratley saw Rice and another woman leave the apartment building, and she followed them to 562 Upper Mill Drive.

Police took Rice into custody after she tried to hide from police.
