1. Me and my husband went to Lakewood park to end our holiday weekend and
enjoy a quiet walk by the lake. I was nauseated and saddened to see five large catfish floating near the shore along with cans glass Styrofoam papers plastic bottles. I had to leave five minutes after we got there. Come on people your trashing our town. Have some respect for the pleasures we are given. These beautiful parks in Salina are a not your dumping grounds. And the community is gonna rag on Salina city and parks to clean it up? Very disturbing.

2. Turned Fox News off… Maybe for good. They played bho’s entire propaganda at Arlington and then as a soldier gave an inspiring invocation they broke to commercial. NOT on MY tv.

3. Do people actually pay to read stories the Salina Journal prints on line? Its a joke! Advertisers should cover these costs. I understand subscriptions are down, but so is the product! If you can’t get advertisers to cover a couple reporters salary, then its time to look in the mirror! Ridiculous!

4. It’s amazing how reckless people drive. It’s summer time, so there are a lot of people on bikes, so you need to pay attention!
