A Salina man reports to police a theft from his unlocked pickup. Rusty Wangerin reported that between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, someone took a Mac Mentor scan tool from under the seat of his 2000 Chevy pickup while it was parked at his home in the 1000 block of E. Elm. Loss is placed at $800.

A Salina business reports the theft of oil drums and batteries. Foley Equipment at 529 N. Broadway reports that 4-Cat oil drums and a 21-Cat batteries were taken from inside a warehouse between last Friday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Loss is estimated at $7,007.
