The girls Class 2-1A State Softball title will stay at home with Chase County for another year. The defending and 2 time champions were able to three-peat with a victory of Hillsboro, 5-1 on Friday afternoon. Chase County has gone 52-0 over the last 2 seasons.

Hillboro finishes the 2014 season as the runner-up with a 23-3 record.

Ell-Saline rebounds after losing their fisrt game of the season in the semi-final. The Lady Cards defeated Udall in the 3rd place game, 13-7. Ell-Saline (25-1) finishes 3rd for the second consecutive season.
